Joyce Tomanek, Prayer Fellowship Coordinator
I'm a small-time writer with a big heart for the LORD. When
I realized Stan Baldwin could use some help with an email
prayer fellowship, my heart leaped for joy. Now THAT was something
I could do right here at home!
I've been married to Frank for thirty-three years. We live
on our small farm in the Northeast Georgia mountains where
I grow organic asparagus and raspberries.
|
Between us, we have six children (four here on planet earth and two
in heaven), eight grandchildren and two great-grands.
I am a cancer survivor, having had extensive surgery and radiation
for oral and throat cancer. By God's grace, I am able to eat, talk
and pray! Also by His mercy, I am strong and feel wonderfully well
and am able to truly enjoy each day.
My delight is writing for HIM. I've been published in our local
newspaper (cancer survivors articles and articles about holding
onto hope), the newsletter for Support for People With Oral and
Head and Neck Cancers, St. Joseph's Hospital's Cancer Network newsletter,
Seasons of a Woman's Heart, and Mother Earth News. Also, as a member
of the Bible Fellowship Net (Ham Radio), I write a monthly prayer
report compiling the requests I've heard that month, which is mailed
to the active members.

Kim Davidson, Webmaster
I
am a freelance writer and inspirational
speaker. In 2003 I founded, and today direct, Olive
Branch Outreach, an outreach ministry for eating disorders,
which is the subject of my writing.
I also develop content for websites and other marketing communications
(my business background is in marketing, mostly healthcare related). |
To date my Christian writing endeavors include published articles
in The Christian Journal, Evangelical Advocate, Faith and Friends,
Pregnancy Care Centers: Heartline and IB: I Believe Online Magazine
(affiliated with ZoeGirl.com). And currently I am working on
my first book, a recovery Bible study for persons with eating disorders
and addiction.
I live outside of Portland, Oregon on a small ranch with my husband
Dennis, and many critters. It's the best environment for writing
and being with the Lord every minute of every day!
